I bought my first camera when I was 14. I endlessly begged my parents for this Craigslist camera until they hesitantly said yes, and that's where it all began. Craigslist. From an early age, I was lucky to begin my learning experience with a professional photographer herself, my Aunt Ivy. In 2019 I moved to Cincinnati where immersed myself in workshops, meetups with local photographers, and being a second shooter for weddings. It was in Cincinnati when I immersed myself into the world of event photography, headshots, senior photos, maternity, family portraits, wedding photography, and more. What first was a hobby quickly grew and flourished into a professional business solely due to my passion for creating memories that can be remembered for a lifetime.
The more I began to capture portraits, I began to study people, their emotions, their posture, and style. I learned what I loved about portraits was the real & raw emotions of people that tell a story. It is truly an art to be able to have the power to create an image that holds a story that allows people to relive the memories and emotions that a photo can capture. Photos share an intimate and personal story and the ability to create a physical reminder of those memories and stories to give to my clients is an honor. I continuously aspire to collaborate, innovate, learn, and create art that I can share with those around me.
